RIA Novosti reports majority of Russians seem not to care what is going on in Syria. Less than half of those polled (44 percent) said they were following the events in the Middle Eastern country, and those were mainly elderly Russians. Eight percent of them said they follow the events closely and another 37 percent said they know about the situation in general.

This is the great danger. Russian youth is benumbed and transformated into a strange form this rate shows. The violance in the middle east is a wildfire is coming closer to Russia but they pay attention to Facebook, MP3 download, Tweeter, fashion etc. Recent formation for growing new generations is this. Fishes living in aquarium but not in oceans. Some very important virtual things but no matter the real world. They are generations has grown up in computer screens and can not leave there now. I am afraid it already happened 70’s science fiction nowels and movies about a life of not machines for poeple but people for machines. Russian youht as well as all the other nations under cultural attack of dominants is assimilated and incapable to comment and consider some important facts of real world. They are busy and engaged with some artificial and virtual event in their agenda. What are the latest hits in playlists, which Iphone applications new, who wrote what in tweeter, what is new in facebook, what favorite celebraties did, which shopping mall or night club is popular nowadays and which type of shoes or watches are trendy this year.

They are not geared enough about life and world, what s going on and why. You can not search and learn if you dont have an interest for something. And globally it s provided them what to interest and what to search. My 13 y.o. step daughter uses internet not less then me but to search and download cartoons, movies, songs and computer games. In the following years it can not be expected from her to change dramatically and to have any interest and knowledge for global problems and policies.

A perception about to be western or to do something in western style is more prestigious is raising in Russian society. It s considered as a plus or even as an obligation among young people. This is one of the greatest threats for Russia and also for all the other non western people. They find themselves in a race for who is the most western so he is the best. When they realize they are really appreciated more by each other by this way, western culture reqirements get stonger influence. And one with western culture is not so free in mind but just fixed and limited by sovereign rules of trend makers in mass media. That civilization requests humanoids to manage with one button on control panel. And it needs people with limited interests.

I can not stop my 2,5 y.o. daughter to watch some strange fantastic cartoons spending those  time with instead of real games in real life. Unfortunately the kids has grown up so consider like virtual ones in computer games when real persons die in real life unnecessarily. Somebody to be killed is normalized and usual for them by computer games. My generation could take some messages about moral and humanitarian values in fairy tales. Recent generation does not know Snegurochka is so decent, modest and innocent but they are being grown up with a dominant culture teachs them TO WIN ANYWAY AND SOMEHOW. No matter criterias, principals, justice but just to take maximum benefit while not to consider and care anybody else. They suffer from to discover the pleasure of to sit a riverside and watch the ducks. It seems to them boring. They can not be happy to see apple trees are blooming.

Russia has no plans to abandon its naval base in Tartus, Syria, Navy chief Vice Adm. Viktor Chirkov said on Monday.
“We need that base,” he said. “It will continue to operate as it has until now.”

Only 2 days ago the flotilla of Russian warships turned back to Black Sea just several hours after his announcement told journalists. “The joint fleet flotilla will not enter the port of Tartus,” “It is carrying out military drills in the Mediterranean.”

Russia’s naval chief, Vice Admiral Viktor Chirkov, confirmed on Friday that Russia was in talks on obtaining naval bases in Cuba, Vietnam and in the Seychelles.

“We are indeed continuing work to ensure the stationing of Russian Navy forces outside the Russian Federation,” he said in an interview with RIA Novosti. “As part of this work at the international level, we are discussing issues related to the creation of [ship] maintenance stations in Cuba, in the Seychelles and in Vietnam.”

The Russian Navy saw that it badly needed foreign bases after 2008, when Russian warships joined international anti-piracy efforts in the Gulf of Aden. Russia has also discussed the possibility of using ports in Djibouti for its warships in the past.

In my opinion it does not show any weakness sign because those ships were not send for a naval war and it s very normal they turn back to their base now at the end of their tasks. But it s commented like Russians could not dare to conduct any military act to protect their interests in Syrian crises by many people in Turkey. Even there are such reader comments in newspaper web sites.

Frankly let me say, I love Russia very much. Russia in the UNSC or any other important role in world security and politics is a fuse of humankind and definitely necessary. But I have to confess that it sounds impossible a state is far from even an ability to protect it's the only one foreign territory naval base to be one of the leading actors in world policy. I mean is there anybody considers if any of American bases in foreign countries was under threat or under attack, they would afriad and escape? We all are sure they would stay and defend it effectively. How can it be expected to take part in creating the future of humankind for example in the UNSC from such a weak country even can not protect it's military facilities? I am very upset with the circumstance Russia is in but it s not a barrier to see the naked truth and to make a honest comment. I make FAIR AND RATIONAL comments and judgements even about myself and try to be honest. I consider not only Russians but also we all -as the publics of the world have a vision and desire for a really independant and free world- are responsible on the problem, by not to give a chance to Russia to be an optimal alternative like Soviet Union was by an unsufficent support.

MOSCOW, July 26 (RIA Novosti) – Russia’s navy chief said on Thursday that a flotilla of Russian warships off the coast of Syria would not dock at a port leased by Moscow in the violence-stricken Middle East country.

Turkish nation lost too much things to involve the WW1 with such policies.

Reverse Engineering again?!?!

Various versions of “future soldier” systems are being introduced as standard infantry soldier gear in NATO member states, including the United States (Land Warrior and Mounted Warrior), Germany (IdZ), Great Britain (FIST), Spain (COMFUT), Sweden (IMESS), France (FELIN), and some other countries.

The Russian Defense Ministry said last year it was holding talks with France on the purchase of FELIN advanced “future soldier” equipment for “testing purposes.”

Yury Borisov, first deputy chair of the Russian Military-Industrial Commission, said in December that Russia may develop a domestic version of “future soldier” gear in the next three years.

I wonder will it be an original Russian technology or just a copy of the French version.

I had a fligth from Moscow to Istanbul 05. th of June 2012. I was in the city of Vladimir located 180 km. east of Moscow. I decided to use coach to Moscow. I arrived to train station at 15:02. Just 2 minutes after the previous one moved to Moscow. So I had to use the next one because they remained several hours for the first train to Moscow. There is a timetable in the bus stop. According to the chart the next coach was at 15:30 and even it was already there and accepting the passengers. There were very few passengers and by the time of departure the amount of passengers could not occupie half of the coach's capacity. That s why we did not move and continued to wait. I think the driver considered it would not be profitable to go as half empty. Passengers started to grumble but no result. and finally the driver came and started to collect fees at 16:00. And it took extra 10 minutes more and we could move with a 40 minutes delay. Naturally it appeared a risk of slightly to be late to the airport. the circumstance forced me to be in hurry. In front of Kurkskaya train station in Moscow, I experienced taxi drivers ask for 2 or 3 times more money than normal from foreigners. And then mostly by my wife's advice I prefered to use metro and wonderful Aeroexpress at rush hour.

In Sheremetyova an other surprise was waiting me. Total weight of my two luggages was 27 kilograms. Aeroflot stuff informed me it s 23 kg. the limit for my flight. So I had 4 kilos overweight. He said I should pay for it. But how much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Brave or firm now.........

103 Euro with the recent currency. Almost a cheap promotion ticket price.

Aeroflot sales tickets for an adult passenger from Moscow to Istanbul in some cases for almost 100 Euro with a promotion. So they consider 4 kg. extra luggage is equal to an extra passenger. Too much pragmatic. I had to give all my rubles which I planed to exchance into USD. If I did not have cash enough at that moment perhaps I would be late to my flight while searching money.


I am a frequent flying passenger and I have been glad with Aeroflot in general till now. For long time I have preferred to use Aeroflot to my national brand Turkish Airlines. Even I am a member of special Aeroflot Bonus Program. It did not help to give any advantage to me. Free baggage right is 20 kilos in Turkish Airlines. But it s only 7 Euro for each extra kilo. They would ask for 28 Euro from me for extra 4 kilos.

All these examples are signs of a mentality to save today for a price of tomorrow. Bus driver could find a way of a more profitable trip by being late and Aeroflot did it by over prices but in fact these acts frustrate Russia. By rendering an image of to be the country of unrealiable and to distrustful approaches. If people globally have hesitations for reasonable prices and decent business life in Russia, everybody feels the negative effects including those behave sly. It prevents Russia to enter the first league with an advanced bussiness life. Nevertheless, such an image may cause Russian consumers to trust foreigners more for business and it will have a reflaction as a worse Russian business life by less costumers. This kind of approaches to business life has a risk to start a vicious circle.


Russia will be recovered from all it's suffers at the day there will be no metarial to write such a post.

Spasibo to be the only one tells the naked truth to all the world directly and molodez to be so courageous. The way of Putin administration matchs up with mine 100% at this topic as well as many of others. I wonder what is Russian opposition's opinion and reaction against such a immorality of fake friends of poor Syria? Are they at the side of occupier aggressive capitalists? As a Turkish citizen I feel shame for my country to be in this vampire group. I visited Syria two times and stayed there for 6 days each. It was undeveloped but nice country. And mostly it was very pieceful and restfull. I saw huge pictures of Bashar Assad everywhere and people did not say anything bad about him. I realized all Syrian peole liked Turkishs very much. I would like to remind you that Bashar Essed took power not 2 years ago but 10 years ago. If he is a bloody dictator, why he waited 8 years to start to do it? Or if he has been the same for 10 years why Syrians waited for 8 years. I am sorry but I dont believe they needed a young street peddler to burn himself to pluck up their courage.

But there is an important point might be a sign to find out what is going on in fact. When I was in Syria, I realized that there were very few American brends in Syrian market. In 2006 local people told me, among the giant western chains only Centucy fried chicken was permitted by goverment to work in Syria. Do you notice there are some other countries like Iraq and Libya involved American influanced area in last decade after there has been economic crisis in America. Not only democracy came to this countries but also American giant companies. Iraqi and Libyan people are reunited with the products of American brends. Of course meanwhile American brends could have millions of new costumers in new markets. Apparently Syrians and Iranians will have an opportunity to spend their money for American companies soon.

Syria is even much more important geographically. It s the only hostile neighbour of Israel and even more important it s a gate to Mediterranean. In last months there is a serious crisis in Iraq between the goverment and autonomous regional Kurdish administration. Barzani administration has searched for an opportunity to export Kirkuk oil apart from the federal goverment in Baghdat. It has a billions of dollars incoming potential. After American's departure from Iraq, there has been a struggle of power between N. al Maliki and Sunnies including Kurds in northen Iraq. Recently Barzani administration declared they would start to decide on everything about Kirkuk oil alone. "Oil is in our territory and it s not Baghdat's matter" they annonced. And they started to export it in their account. First batch of it has arrived to Turkey. But Kurds and their patron America has a great problem to export the oil. A port to ship it to European markets. Now they have to remove the rock which block their access to Mediterranean. The west has had one more important matter for long time, to be rescued from dependency to Russian oil and natural gas. They have had some projects like Nabucco but all those projects also need a port in Mediterranean shore.


Turkey, Quatar and S.Arabia are against current regime in Syria not only as a Sunni ally but also as the imperialist demanding countries in the region. But the Gulf kingdoms have one more very valid reason. Upcoming Iran war threatens their oil export potential. Last week Iran made a missile drill and demonstrate it's missiles including some naval versions. There was a declaration of Iranian top rank general that all the ships in the gulf including US navy have become sitting ducks for us with these naval missiles. Iran has declared several times before it would block the Strait of Hormuz if it s attacked. And almost all gulf oil export is done through Hormuz. Iraq is in secure for last 10 years now with an American puppet goverment. If Syria is also under control, perhaps it will be possible to make a pipeline to Mediterranean from Basra gulf to secure oil export. Correspondingly Iran's support to Assad is not only for sect but also for their security. Syria is the key milestone to launch an attack to Iran.


And one more point I would lke to take your attention, the timing of Mrs. Clinton to dares threaten Russia in a period Russia is faced with budget deficit and has had to cancel some projects because of very low oil prices. That s why RUSSIA HAS TO DEVELOP IT'S INDUSTRY AND PRODUCTION TO CREATE SOME MORE INCOMING INSTRUMENTS ELSE OIL AND GAS.

I mean a modest western fast food of popular daily culture in the west treated with sophisticated habits and approvals of fundamental local culture may give some unexpected views. Especially ladies come there overdressed with feminen night dresses and accessories. Like princesses waiting at a supermarket cash. Usually they look like they choose best pieces of their wardrope to come to Mc Donald's for dinner as a social event. In spite of it unlikely has a meaning more than to eat something easy and cheap in the west, Mc Donald's is considered as a place to invite your beloved for a romantic and elegant dinner in Vladimir. Despite any foreigner like me might be fascinated their own restaurant and dinner practices they exaggerate western icons. It s a good example of rooted fundemental elegant cultures are being dominated by popular western trends.
