They would take part drills in the Mediterranean.

MOSCOW, July 26 (RIA Novosti) – Russia’s navy chief said on Thursday that a flotilla of Russian warships off the coast of Syria would not dock at a port leased by Moscow in the violence-stricken Middle East country.

“The joint fleet flotilla will not enter the port of Tartus,” Vice Admiral Viktor Chirkov told journalists. “It is carrying out military drills in the Mediterranean.”

And Turkish media giant Hurriyet reports they are on the route to Black Sea.

’Tsezar Kunikov’, ’Shakhtar’,  ’Nikolay Filchenkov’ and ’SB-5’ entered the Dardannels at 16.00 and arrived to Marmara by 19.30 to turn back to Black Sea by the midnight.

In my opinion it does not show any weakness sign because those ships were not send for a naval war and it s very normal they turn back to their base now at the end of their tasks. But it s commented like by many people in Turkey Russians could not dare to conduct any military act to protect their interests in Syrian crises. Even there are such reader comments in newspapers. And dont forget radical Islamists are angry to Russia by it's approach to Syrian crises and over nationalists are traditionally hate Russia. They will louder address their claim that Turkey is more powerfull and influential than Russia in the area and in the world. And such ideas may lead them to be bold and adventurous more and more. Turkish nation lost too much things to involve the WW1 with such policies.

And also, it may be not prestigious for Russian navy Vice Admiral Viktor Chirkov has been unconfirmed about ships' schedules with drills only within one day.
